Qualification Requirements

Rewards are defined as: (a) Interest paid on balances based on the tiered APYs as described above. And; (b) reimbursements up to an aggregate total of $25.00 (max. $3.00 per single transaction) for ATM withdrawal fees imposed by other financial institutions and incurred in the United States during the Monthly Qualification Cycle in which you satisfied Qualification Requirements.

Important information about rewards. When linked with a Kasasa Saver account, Kasasa rewards including: interest earned and ATM fee refunds will be automatically transferred to the Kasasa Saver account within one day of crediting, and may negate the compounding effects on your APY. This transfer may bring your account balance negative, but you will not be charged an overdraft fee.

To qualify for Kasasa Cash Rewards, you must access Online Banking at least one time during the monthly qualification cycle and 12 Point of Sale debit card transactions must post and settle during the monthly qualification cycle. Account transactions and activities may take one or more days to post and settle to the account and all must do so during the Monthly Qualification Cycle in order to qualify for the account’s rewards. The following activities do not count towards the 12 Point of Sale debit card transactions: ATM-processed transactions, transfers between accounts, debit card purchases processed by merchants and received by our bank as ATM transactions, non-retail payment transactions, and purchases made with debit cards not issued by our bank. Transactions bundled together by merchants and received by our institution as a single transaction count as a single transaction for the purpose of earning account rewards. Statement Cycles cut on the 2nd Wednesday of the month. The Qualifying Monthly Cycle during which the account requirements must be met starts on the 2nd Wednesday of the month and end the Tuesday before the 2nd Wednesday of the next month. For example the November 2020 to December 2020 Qualifying Monthly Cycle is going to start on November 11th and goes until December 8th.

An ATM receipt must be presented for reimbursements of individual ATM withdrawal fees of $5.00 or higher. We reimburse ATM withdrawal fees based on estimates when the withdrawal information we receive does not identify the ATM fee. If you have not received an appropriate reimbursement, we will adjust the reimbursement amount if we receive the transaction receipt within thirty (30) calendar days of the withdrawal transaction. When Kasasa Cash qualifications are not met, all balances in the account earn 0.01% APY and ATM withdrawal fees are not refunded. Interest earned and ATM fee reimbursements will be credited to your Kasasa Cash account on the last day of current statement cycle. Rates and rewards are variable and may change after account is opened. Fees may reduce earnings and rates are accurate as of 05/11/2023. APY stands for Annual Percentage Yield.
